Prisoner of Trebekistan just got a few more nice words:

Harris has been, among other things, a stand-up comic, and it shows in his book, in lively phrases and an ear for the incongruous... makes you feel what it was like to be in the green room and at the lectern... a skilled storyteller... pulls you in like a good sports story.
The New York Times Book Review

Since the piece is behind the subscription firewall, the full text won't be easily accessible online for a bit.  It's actually a joint review with Ken Jennings's Brainiac, and in all honesty, it's pretty mixed.  The reviewer seems to have resented having to read two whole books, the poor guy.  He takes this out mostly on Ken, but whatever.  The piece also contains a few dopey mistakes that a closer reading would have prevented, but I'm getting used to that.

All in all, pretty neat.

UPDATE: Whoops, my mistake.  I only assumed the review was behind a subscription wall.  Wrong again.

UPDATE parte dos: wall's back up.  Oh well.
