The Pentagon is sending talk radio hosts to Iraq!

Unfortunately, they won't be there to fight.  They'll be embedded.  Which means they'll only report what they're shown.

It's not exactly a set of household names, and with the exception of a classic-rock DJ from Oklahoma City and the Washington editor of "Talkers" magazine, every single one of them is from a swing state.

So today I'm filling out my tax forms and sending in my money so a classic-rock DJ from Oklahoma City -- let's not miss this fine point -- can share his finely-honed Pentagon-arranged insights in the Arab world.

Y'know, screaming may just not get it done anymore.

Trepanation, maybe.  Yeah.  Maybe I'll try that.

Thanks to alert reader Cindy for the heads-up.
