And speaking of Oz…

The Economist Intelligence Unit’s annual study of the best places to live on Earth put four Australian cities — Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Adelaide — in the top ten.  (Brisbane was tied for eleventh place, incidentally.  So those of you in Canberra, Cairns, Darwin, and Alice Springs are missing out.)

Canada had three of the top ten.  Switzerland had the other three.

The best the U.S. has to offer?  Cleveland and Pittsburgh.  Seriously.

The Economist apparently doesn’t consider baseball as a factor in quality of life…
