I’ve seen requests for dik-diks in the comments. Glad you already see where this is going. But all in good time, my friends. Affection for tiny ungulates is a potent flavor, best savored slowly.
Pudus are my favorite, but before long, we’ll have dik-diks and duikers and klipspringers galore. Occasionally, we’ll even toss in a subungulate, maybe a hyrax or dugong, just to shake things up. All of which are adorable enough to break your heart.
But let’s not rush things. We just got here. And isn’t it lovely?
