I am shocked to learn that Jerry Falwell was raised by a violent psycho

Posted on February 25, 2005 by Bob

Jon over at A Tiny Revolution enjoys a fun snip out of Falwell’s autobiography, courtesy The New Yorker.

Makes sense he’d support a president who tortured animals as a kid, too.

Especially one whose government outsources torture of human beings.

What really happens when you lend $25 via Kiva.org to help an overseas mom-and-pop business? I followed my own money all the way to clients in Peru, Nepal, Cambodia, Lebanon, Kenya, and a dozen other countries. Do you really get paid back? And does it really do any good?
